ganhei o segundo livro desta série do ken follett, e adorei! daí decidi ler este volume, que é o primeiro da série. ele é bem legal, mas não tanto quanto o segundo livro. o autor conta (em forma de novelinha legalzinha típica de best sellers) coisas passadas na inglaterra medieval, resultando numa boa diversão pro leitor.

i got the second book of this series for my birthday this year, and loved it. then i decided to read this volume, the first of the series. it's okay, but certainly not as good as the second book. the author writes about medieval england, in a soap-opera way so typical of bestselling books, which results in a fun rading experience.
