eu já tinha lido este livro antes, mas a única lembrança que ele deixou na memória foi de ter sido um livro bom e especial, então resolvi reler. que surpresa ótima! o livro é mesmo ótimo, e a forma como a isabel allende conta os acontecimentos da vida pra filha paula é absolutamente adorável. o melhor desta autora, eu acho, são sempre estes textos assim, contando da sua vida, sua família, seu dia-a-dia. devorei as 400 páginas em dois dias, e terminei o livro suspirando de contentamento :-)

i had already read this book, but the only memory i had from it was having liked it a lot, so i decided to read it again. what a pleasant surprise! the book is great indeed, and the way isabel allende uses to tell us and her daughter (since the books reads as a letter to paula) about her life is simply adorable. i think the best of this author are books like this, in which she tells us about her family, friends, and daily life. i devoured the 400 pages in only a couple of days and finished the book sighing with contentment :-)
