este livro é exatamente como eu me lembrava dele: bonitinho, com receitas antigas que ajudam a autora explicar os acontecimentos em uma família diferente. várias coisas implausíveis acontecem nesta obra em que a laura esquivel tanto me lembra a isabel allende do começo de carreira literária. gosto dos exageros tipicamente latinoamericanos e da forma como a história vai se desenrolando, fazendo com que a gente permaneça o tempo todo com um sorriso no rosto ao ler este livro.

this book is exactly as i remembered it to be: cute, with old recipes that help the author to tell the story of a different family. many implausible things happen in this book in which laura esquivel reminds me isabell allende's first stories. i like the typical latin american exaggerations and the way in which the story is unfolded, making me have a smile at all times while reading this book.
