vi este filme quando era menina, claro, e gostei (a rê adorou!). mais de vinte anos depois, eis que o livro me aparece! o começo da história me surpreendeu, por ser bem melhor que o filme -- a história sem fim deve ter sido uma espécie de harry potter de antigamente ;-) porém, quando a gente chega à metade do livro, ele perde um pouco a graça e se alonga inexplicavelmente em aventuras que não agregam em nada. no finalzinho, ele volta a ficar bom e a nos dar uma super lição de moral (confesso que achei esta parte do livro muuuuito alemã!). no geral, é um livro bacana de se ler.

i saw this movie when i was a kid, and liked it (my sister loved it!). more than twenty years later, the book comes my way! the story's beginning surprised me, for being so much better than the movie -- the neverending story must have been a kind of harry potter in the old days ;-) however, once you reach the middle of the book, it loses some of its appeal and goes on and on without any apparent reason. in the end, the book resumes its nice pace and gives us some kind of a moral lesson (i thought that was soooo german-like!). overall, this was a good book to read.
