se eu tivesse que descrever este livro em uma única palavra, ela seria 'divertido'! a connie williams escreve de uma forma extremamente bem humorada, que me fez rolar de rir muitas vezes. esta história se passa em diversas épocas (mas especialmente na inglaterra vitoriana) e envolve viagens ao tempo, mas não se engane: de ficção científica ela não tem quase nada. basicamente, a autora tira o maior sarro dos livros de mistério da década de 1930, e nos envolve num mistério contado através de muitas palhaçadas. não vou contar o final, mas que dá vontade, dá! rs. diversão garantida = este livro :-)

if i had to describe this book using only one word, it would be 'fun'! connie williams makes everything sound funny, and made me laugh out loud a bunch of times while reading this book. the story comprises some different time eras (but mostly the victorian english years) and involves time travel, but don't kid yourself: it has almost nothing to do with science fiction. what basically happens is that the author writes a kind of a parody of the mystery books of the 1930s, and get us curious while telling all the happenstances through a lot of jokes and goofy characters. i won't tell you how the story ends, but i'll tell you this: this book is guaranteed entertainment :-)
